I want Candy

Maclain is such a SMART little guy! After haircuts tonight, he noticed a candy machine as we were heading out. He said "Candy?" and I said he could have a piece at home. When I got him in his car seat he starting singing "I want candy" which he learned from Quinn's dance routine song. This is the first time he ever sang it and he used it in the proper context. So Funny! I got him to sing it on camera, but it is not nearly as good as he sang it when he wanted the real thing.
The kiddos had some fun rolling around and giggling tonight. They have such fun together.
After Maclain made his video Quinn wanted to get her picture taken too. I can't get over all her big teeth. It looks funny with her tiny face. So cute...

My girl

I have been holding Quinn a little tighter these days. It seems she is growing up so DARN FAST! I hate it...but I also love it. She has such a fun personality and she makes me laugh every day. She is very sensitive and gives me hugs when she can tell I need them, and helps me with her brother all the time. I couldn't ask for a better daughter. We recently found out a little girl at my school has cancer. SO SCARY! This could be Quinn. What would I do if my little one had to go through all of those terrible treatments and tests. I know you do it and you face it head on so that you can beat it and put it behind you, but HOW?!?! So I have been a little more emotional lately and I have not been as nurturing with my class and my own kids when they have a hangnail or a non existent bruise. Just kiss all your kids and send your prayers for Maddeson tonight...

Tea Party Fun

The DIVAS ready for their tea party
Quinn looks so springy in her new tea party outfit

The ladies who baked for the tea

Sorry this is sideways...I didn't think before I filmed this.

Quinn and my mom went to a tea party on Saturday at Usher's Ferry. It is an old time village and the tea party was through the city Parks and Rec department. They drank REAL tea (Quinn wasn't so sure of that) and they ate fancy treats. There was a story teller there that told them about how tea was done in the "old days" This was a gift Quinn gave Grammy for Christmas because they have been having tea parties since Quinn was 2. They always have to do "Pinkies" up and they call each other "Miss Quinn" and "Miss Grammy". Quinn enjoys these specials times with her Grandma.
We also went over Saturday night to watch Brandon wrestle on the internet...it was hooked up to mom and dad's TV. Maclain gets so excited about watching Brandon wrestle. He started cheering the minute I told him where he was going, so I had to get a video of it.
